I'm a local guitar instructor currently teaching in the Everett area at my home studio off of Casino Road, and I have openings available for a few new students who are interested in learning about guitar, music theory, chord and scale construction, sight reading and notation, and playing riffs and hot licks in rock, blues, and jazz styles.

TURN UP THE SPEAKERS TO HEAR A SAMPLE OF MY GUITAR PLAYING!

I've worked with over 1,000 music students, and I've developed an easy-going yet effective teaching style that helps push my students to achieve their playing goals. I specialize in beginners who are trying to learn left and right hand techniques, rhythms, melody, harmony, improvisation, and overall musicianship skills on the guitar.

I've attended 3 colleges, and have studied with many great instructors in the field of music, jazz improvisation, music theory, etc. - and I've played in over 50 bands. My father was the head of Columbia Basin College's Music and Fine Arts Department, and he was also the President of the Musician's Union in Pasco, WA. for 20 years, so I have been involved in music in one way or another since my birth. I started playing guitar and piano in elementry school, and I played clarinet and saxaphone in the school band. In high school I started playing guitar in rock bands, and I have performed professionaly in various music groups since 1979. I'm not Mozart or the hottest guitarist in the Seattle area, but I can help you learn how to play the guitar - give me a call!

Teaching is not about how great I can play - it's about me helping YOU learn to play!
